Graduation Ceremony

INFORMATION FOR GRADUATING STUDENTS

All graduands will be sent an information letter with details about the arrangements for graduation. If you expect to graduate and have not received an information letter please contact the Registrar of your Member Institution.

Academic Dress

To graduate you will be required to wear the appropriate regalia or academic dress. This includes an academic gown, a trencher (cap) and a hood with the appropriate colours for your degree.

Gowns and Trenchers

Graduands are responsible to organise to hire their own gown and trencher. These are hired directly from University of Sydney Union and collected on Saturday morning and returned that afternoon by 1.30pm. Please follow the booking instructions provided on the University of Sydney Union website. Payments can be made online.

Hoods

Hoods and stoles are to be hired and/or purchased through your home Member Institution. Contact the Registrar at your institution to arrange this.

2018 GRADUATION

14th April 2017 11.00am Sydney University – Great Hall

All Graduands are responsible to organise well in advance to hire their own gown, trencher, and hood/stole. Please arrive early at the Great Hall of Sydney University on the day Graduation ceremony.
